What is the best free firewall to use for Windows Vista?

5

I have two computers(one ldesktop and one laptop). I use Windows vista with Comodo Firewall pro firewal on both. I find that it is hard to get something back into the trusted zone after you have it listed as untrusted. It seems to be complicated to configure. Is this the best free firewall to use or is there any better?

I personally use Comodo and didn’t have any problems.

PC Tools Firewall is one of the best, and it’s free
get it at : pctools.com
There are plenty of other good firewalls, like Comodo, ZoneAlarm…
Have fun

Personally I find the inbuilt Windows firewall is better or as good as any other. All my supported machines now only use the Windows firewall, and since I did this, I have never had any problems with firewall.

Hi DARWIN K,

Actually, I’ve found that the included Windows Firewall works best with what I’ve been doing. You can get more info about that here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-vista/features/firewall.aspx. Also, if you’re looking for something that will work easily with your OS, the Windows Firewall is the logical choice.

I would suggest Comodo.
