The amount of trialware installed on new pc’s and laptops, keeps increasing every year. It seems that there is no end to the amount of crap, that are pre installed from the manufacturers.

Who gains from all the trialware?

The pc manufacturers, and the software producers naturally has a financial interest in stuffing your new pc with all this time limited software.

From a user perspective, I am personally getting really annoyed with this trialware, that is cluttering up every new pc or laptop that I get my hands on.

If I want to have antivirus software or a firewall installed, i’d like to choose myself - you and I are clever enough to make educated decissions on our own. 

As a consumer, you are buying new hardware to get faster performance - but in reality much of the gained speed is lost from the massive amount of startup programs that are running in the background.
