I had installed windows xp and windows vista in my computer. Recently i had to re install windows xp and after the installation, the vista boot menu does not appear. Rather than that the machine continues to load windows xp. Now i cannot load windows vista. How can i get the boot screen back? Please help me

When I boot into ubuntu my internet is really fast so I know it’s not a problem with my comcast service. It seems that windows vista (07′) makes everything really slow. I also have to re-boot often from problems with internet explorer in vista. I have tons of stuff saved in Vista and way more programs installed there so I really need to be using it more often than Ubuntu.

Or at least make the icons on the task bar like it. I really dislike the way windows seven looks, but I know seven runs better. I have looked in the theme options and couldn’t find a theme that makes seven look like vista.

Okay, I would like to have linux and Windows Vista both running on one machine. I DON’T want to get rid of Windows Vista, so what do I do after I download linux. I would also like to do the same with XP too.
And please NO bad mouthing about windows or windows vista. I happen to like Microsoft and Windows Vista and I DON’T want to get rid of it.

On my laptop, I am currently running Windows Vista Premium (64-bit). My laptop has 4gb of ram and a 2.5Ghz Centrino Processor. How can I customize Vista so that it runs faster and doesn’t hog up system resources for no good reason. I already set Vista up so that it does not keep program drivers loaded in my ram. What else can I do?

I have a linux box that needs to have windows vista in a dual boot situation. I cannot erase linux to put windows first so, how can I dual boot this with vista and not erase linux?

I have vista running for months now with all kind of softwares installed. Is there any way just to back up windows vista and its essential features, excluding later installed softwares and files?
I don’t have the disk, that’s why i need to back up the windows now for later use.
