Is it possible to reset my windows vista to factory setting and how?

I’m trying to restore my vista notebook to factory setting, but it did not come with windows operating system. Any advice on how to do this right?

Is It Possible To Change The Way Windows Minimize And Maximize In Vista Home Basic?

Is it possible to change the way windows minimize and maximize in vista home basic. I saw a friend of mine with Linux (dunno which exactly) and the windows minimized/maximized by shattering. I want to change the way mine do that, I have Windows Vista Home Basic. I wouldn’t mind getting a cool version of Linux/Unix (don’t really understand the differences), I’d just need step by step guidance.
