If you create a new account on Windows Vista and you have another account. Can you switch files from your old account to your new account?

I’ve been thinking about installing windows vista for free, but I don’t know if I should overlap windows XP.

I have Windows Vista premium home edition on my laptop and have recently installed Microsoft office onto it. The programs seem to only show up on my profile (administrator) and not on the other profile I setup for my girlfriend. I cannot figure out how to give her profile permission. Little help?
