I have Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit and I want to upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit. I was looking through some questions earlier and I saw some answers saying $10. I was sure they were talking about something else. So how much does it really cost? I’m planning on buying it from Best Buy and my computer is an Acer if that’s relevant.

I used to have Windows XP, and my job had a link where I could click and access my work hard drive from my home computer. However, when I got the new laptop with the Vista system, and I downloaded the link from my employer, I couldn’t access the files. Is there a way of working around the features of Vista?

i have a windows vista installation cd from when i bought my gateway laptop. i have a toshiba laptop and i downloaded the cd to my toshiba. it worked like a normal computer for like a week. now it says i need a product key. where can i get this? i lost my papers and information about my gateway computer when i moved.

It says it requires 16 GB hard disk space but I assume that is for a clean install? If you install an in-place upgrade from Windows Vista how much extra HD space will it take up to that already taken up by VIsta? Thanks.

My daughter got a new laptop for Christmas. She has been using an older computer that has been using the Windows 98 operating system. She wants to move all of her music and document files from the older Windows 98 computer to her new laptop with Windows Vista. Does anyone know how she can do that?
