How do I upgrade from windows xp to windows vista>?

I have windows xp 32 bit and wanted some step by step instruction on how to upgrade to windows vista 32 bit with the installation disk!

Forget Vista. Stay with the xp. Sorry I got it.

back up all your data in XP

Go to your computer BIOS “at the start screen”
Select your first boot device as your cd drive.
Put the vista disk in the drive and restart your computer.
As the computer start keep tapping the space bar.

Your computer should then boot using the vista disk and start to install it.
Follow the on screen instructions.

first make sure your pc is capable of running vista. Then put the cd in when the your computer is running. Follow the steps. its pretty self explanatory.

1. Go to microsoft.com and make sure your system is compatible with Windows Vista.

2. If your system is compatible, go buy a copy of Windows Vista.
-Vista Basic – for basic consumer use
-Vista Premium – for multimedia and entertainment use
-Vista Business – for business
-Vista Ultimate – for all of the above and more

3. Insert the disc into your disc drive.

4. Turn on your computer. Boot from the disc when prompted.

5. Follow the step by step instructions.
