I am surprised that installation it even worked.

But anyway the product key should be UNDER the gateway laptop.

This is the point where you are going to relize why I am surprised it worked so far. As OEM operating systems are made for one computer and one computer only.

what you did was illegal, you are suppose to buy one system product for one computer only and is not for use on multiple computers. i recommend buying a new windows software.

One license per computer.

You need to purchase a new Vista dvd.

I too am surprised that it even worked, but what you need to do is just get a proper product key, and you may have to re upload the proper drivers from the Toshiba website, so you can get online and what not. The disk you used should have had the drivers that were for the Gateway computer, not the toshiba you are using. Also know that you can use windows without a product key, though you will most likely run into issues somewhere along the line. If you can get your hands on a version of Windows XP Professional I really suggest that you use that instead of the resource hog known as vista. . Hope this is helpful, email me if you have any issues.
