To automatically check for new definitions before scheduled scans
(recommended)

Click to open Windows Defender.

Click Tools, and then click Options.

Under Automatic scanning, make sure the Automatically scan my computer
(recommended) check box is selected.

Select the Check for updated definitions before scanning check box, and then
click Save.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the
password or provide confirmation.

1. My contacts were imported but not my groups. Can i import groups?
To create a group it says to click on "New Contact Group" on the
toolbar but
there is no such option?

2. My calendar information was imported in a folder but does not appear in
the calendar?

This is by design in WM, it only uses auto-complete for the previous 29
addresses used, it does not auto-complete for the entire Contact list.

During the installation (stage 2, 3 or 4%)of the installation of SP1,
the lights went out and the computer turnhimself off.

At restart, nothing happened,get stuck on the progress bars.

Methods tried:

1-create recovery disk, i restarted with computer repair.
It recognized error at start up, and tried to correct.All process went
by , now Vista will pass the progress bars, screen goes black and
start showing the upload of libraries= ####/92449.

Everything goes smooth until it reaches 3260/92449, here it shows an
error "0xc190036) for "mcmde.dll.

Seems this dll is corrupted or missing.

Computer hangs in there,kind of blinking the error.

I tried from the recovery "Restore to an early point", with no sucess,
the system informed that it can’t be done because i’m in Safety stage or
sort.

The only option available is the command prompt , but i don’t know the
commands to delete/repair this dll, or other procedure needed.

I’m desperate because is the machine i use to work also and ihave very
important data on it..

Please any help will be greatly appreciated…:cry:
